This fine Dublin hotel has recently re-invented itself, emerging as a model of crisp, contemporary design and - as it has been for 20 years now - an extremely comfortable place to stay, especially for business guests. Extensive state-of-the-art conference and meeting facilities, a fitness centre, underground parking, a choice of restaurants - now, under new Head Chef Donnchadh Geraghty, attracting destination diners as well as residents, which is quite an achievement for an hotel in a city generously endowed with excellent restaurants, many of them nearby - a smart cocktail bar, and the popular Alfie Byrne's Pub ... everything, in short, that the business guest could need. A raised seating area in the airy and spacious foyer makes an excellent informal meeting venue, and nice touches throughout the include thoughtful details like providing an umbrella in each room - many of which have views over St Stephen’s Green, and all of which double as an efficient office - and also providing a laminated jogging map of the area with one- and three-mile routes outlined, a health-conscious gesture that is especially appreciated by business guests. This is the second time that Conrad Dublin has been selected as our Business Hotel of the Year - a tribute to the success with which this fine hotel has kept up with the changing demands of business hospitality.
