IRISH BREAKFAST AWARDS 2009 B&B BREAKFAST

Heron's Rest B&B

The wise B&B owner makes a big deal out of breakfast these days – and, although there are plenty of other reasons people love staying at this one, the delicious and sociable way that each day begins is a big draw.

The menu is very generous and unusual, offering about eight hot dishes  - but, even more importantly the owner, Sorcha Molloy, is a wonderful host, chatting to guests as she cooks - which gives her a chance to pass on local information or discuss travel plans and offer tips and recommendations.
