This small artisan preserves company was started in the 1970s by Theresa Storey's parents (who sold their products at the Limerick Milk Market for many years) and is now run by Theresa and her family.
Many of the ingredients for her preserves come from their own family garden, the walled garden of her parents' 18th century castle nearby, and also the hedgerows in the area - fruits like wild crab apple, damsons, brambles, hawthorn, elderberry and rosehip all make wonderful traditional jellies.
Made in small batches according to family recipes, her extensive (seasonal) range of jams, marmalades, chutneys, ketchups, sauces, herb mixes, butters, mustards and pickles has earned a loyal market following, of customers who appreciate the variety and the authenticity of their natural goodness.
They also teach courses in kitchen gardening and smallholding, and hold home preserving workshops.
