This coastal hotel really has got a (very) old castle at the heart of it - and they’ve even got a ghost (you can visit her room at the top of the castle)
Conference/banqueting (200/120). Rooms 44 (2 junior suites, 9 executive, 6 family rooms, all no smoking, 1 wheelchair friendly); room only rate from £137, single from £109; no SC. Children welcome; (under 14 free in parents' room; cots available without charge). Wheelchair accessible. Parking. No pets. Meals: Rest D, 5pm-9pm; Sun buffet L 12.30-2.30, adults £17, children £15. Bar menu Mon-Sat 12pm-6.30pm, Sun from 3pm. *Short breaks offered - details on application. Open all year. Amex, Diners, MasterCard, Visa. abbreviations

This coastal hotel really has got a (very) old castle at the heart of it - and they’ve even got a ghost (you can visit her room at the top of the castle).


The whole thing is quite unlike any of the other Hastings hotels and, although recent investment has improved standards dramatically, the hotel still has character; some of the older rooms are literally shaped by the castle itself, and are quite romantic.


Cosy chintzy wing chairs and open fires make welcoming lounge areas to relax in - and the beach is just a stone’s throw away, across the road.
