The Purple Sage Restaurant:
An attractive, informal restaurant with welcoming staff and food well above the standard normally expected in hotels. Menus are appealing in a fairly contemporary style, including imaginative vegetarian cooking and healthy options, which have always been a feature.
The range offered is balanced between crowd pleasers such as steaks and more adventurous dishes, possibly including game in season, and good home made desserts, all cooked with care.
The focus at lunchtime is a popular carvery, but a sandwich bar (hot or cold) is also available if you prefer something lighter, and cooked to order meals are also offered in Brass Bar & Grill.
