Big windows running right along the back of the main building make the most of a wonderful view of the lake and the mountains beyond, and there are comfortable sofas in the windows where you can have coffee. The view is shared by many of the very comfortable bedrooms, and the Boathouse Grill, where informal meals are available.

A state-of-the art health and beauty spa is popular with local members as well as residents with gymnasium and is very well equipped with fitness suite, indoor swimming pool, hot tub, hydro therapy pool, treatment suites, sauna, and steam room.

Fishing and river cruising are particular attractions and the hotel gardens reach down to the riverbank and their own pontoon, where visiting cruisers can berth. Golf and horse riding nearby.

Lakeshore self-catering chalets also available, with private jetties and full use of hotel facilities.
