Situated about 15 minutes drive north of Galway city in the heart of hunting and fishing country, John and Finola Cooke's early Georgian manor house enjoys beautiful views overlooking Lake Hackett.

It is a lovely property, with large well-proportioned reception rooms, and very comfortable bedrooms decorated in period style, with impressive marbled bathrooms to match.

Accommodation is available in several areas of the property, and the offering is varied. You might spend a weekend staying in the main house, for example (B&B,with dinner available by arrangement), or take one of the courtyard villas as a base for exporing this wonderful area - and there is even a charmingly restored Gate Lodge at the entrance, offering a complete away-from-it-all experience.

Meals for residents at Lisdonagh are always a pleasant experience, too, served in a handsome dining room and based on seasonal local produce.

*The two villas in the courtyard are available for self-catering or fully serviced, and the main house can also be rented exclusively for private groups.
