Established by Cameron and Nuala Heaton in 1997 and now run by their son, David, this fine purpose-built guesthouse is set in well-maintained gardens just across the road from the water and, although convenient to Dingle town, it’s beyond the hustle and bustle of the busy streets.

An impressive foyer-lounge area sets the tone on arrival and spacious, bedrooms confirm the excellent first impressions: not so much regularly refurbished as completely redesigned, they all have bathrooms finished to a very high standard and phones, TV and hospitality trays - and the junior suites and superior rooms are not only luxurious, but also very stylish.

Good food is at the heart of the Heaton family philosophy and getting guests off to a good start each day has always been a point of honour. And David is a chef so you can be sure of a good breakfast, including an extensive buffet (everything from fresh juices to cold meats and Irish cheeses) as well as a full hot breakfast menu – and what a view!
