Just outside Adare, this low, grey-tiled building is set in well-kept gardens and presents a neat and welcoming appearance from the road.
It has grown dramatically since the Fitzgerald family opened it in 1983 and is now in an energetic second generation ownership, who have systematically upgraded and developed the whole hotel over the years.
It has always been a popular venue for weddings and is particularly well suited to large gatherings, with spacious public areas throughout, including two bars, and a restaurant and banqueting suite overlooking gardens and countryside.
New and recently upgraded bedrooms offer spacious, comfortable accommodation and there's an excellent leisure centre, with 20 metre pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym; numerous therapies and treatments are offered and balneotherapy seaweed baths are a speciality.
For summer gatherings, Timmy Mac's bar has a barbecue garden area with thatched cottage feature.
