The Old Jameson Distillery

Light food and lunch is served all day at the Third Still restaurant in this popular tourist attraction
Restaurant Seats 55. Open Mon-Fri 9am-6pm; a la carte L 12-4. House wine from €20.95. Reservations accepted; wheelchair accessible. Closed 24-26 Dec, Good Fri. MasterCard, Visa, Laser. abbreviations

While most visitors to Dublin will visit the restored Old Jameson Distillery to do the tour (which is fascinating, see below), it can also be a handy spot for a drink at one of the bars or a bite to eat.

There are special menus for groups (including evening functions, when the Distillery is not otherwise open) but the Third Still Restaurant is also open to individuals - lunch and light all-day contemporary food is served. The standard of cooking is generally higher than might be expected of a major tourist attraction - although it would be nice to see Irish food culture showcased as enthusiastically as the drinks.

Downstairs, in the reception area, JJ's Bar (where mixologists create the finest Jameson Cocktails) opens from midday.
