QTR.East (formerly Dublin Wine Rooms)

Boasting a great location and outdoor seating, this unusual wine bar and deli offers over 300 wines – and, uniquely, the 50+ by the glass are all available to taste before buying
Deli Mon-Fri 12pm-5pm; Restaurant Mon-Fri 12pm-3pm / 5pm-10pm, Sat 5pm - Late. Winebar Mon-Sat 5pm-Late abbreviations

CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Formerly Dublin Wine Rooms is the fourth wine bar to occupy this IFSC venue, which enjoys great frontage and outdoor seating on Mayor Square. The cosy and intimate wine bar has a formal restaurant upstairs for weekend dining, but it’s the ground floor wine bar that has more character and charm.

Uniquely it offers over 50 wines by the glass, with each available to taste before buying thanks to the innovative Enomatic wine system. Diners buy a tasting card then select a wine to taste, or pour in measures of large or small glasses. The unique system is button operated and computerised, and diners can wander round the attractively laid out set-up selecting their next tipple.

A small deli at the front of the venue serves eat in or take out gourmet sandwiches by day and there’s a short but ambitious menu for evening dining.

Although the food may not always deliver, the fabulous staff, comfy seating, lively buzz and selection of over 300 wines should ensure a memorable visit.

Come for the wine and antipasti platters and you should have a fun time.
