Tony Garahy is a fourth generation farmer at this mixed organic farm, and is renowned for the successful organic box scheme he has operated in West Offaly and North Tipperary since 1997.


He has over 200 regular customers in the scheme, which supplies vegetables in season (over 40 varieties are grown); the boxes - which are actually attractive stackable baskets - also include organic bread from Coolfin Gardens Bakery in Banagher.


Lough Boora Farm produce includes beef and lamb (mainly frozenis also sold at markets (Tullamore, Thurles) and selected stores including Sheridans Cheesemongers in Galway, and The Organic Store in Birr.
