This buzzy Temple Bar restaurant was one of the first new-wave places in the area and, although maybe not quite what is was in the early days, its specialities remain the same: big, generous and wholesome salads (their special Caesar salad is renowned), pasta dishes, home-made burgers and great big baskets of chicken wings.
This Dublin restaurants not a place to drop in for a quick bite - waiting staff are usually foreign students and, although willing and friendly, it can take longer than anticipated to finish a meal; however, the lively atmosphere is perhaps the strongest attraction here, so the time passes agreeably.
There's more to the menu than the trademark chicken wings though - a great brunch menu for starters.
