Scenically located on Keady Mountain, in the Sperrins, the Mullan family’s traditional beef and sheep hill farm gained full organic status in 2000 and, since then, it has diversified.
The family now produces top quality Aberdeen Angus beef and hill lamb (assorted breeds), poultry (chicken, ducks and geese) and eggs.
Their produce is available from several small retailers, but the main sales are at St. George’s Saturday Market in Belfast, where Ruairi enthusiastically introduces shoppers to the benefits of grass fed meats.
Visitors are also welcome to call to the farm to buy produce on Fridays (advisable to ring ahead).
Self-catering accommodation is also available.
