One of the prettiest properties in Kinsale, Andrew and Laura Corcoran's characterful house on the harbour front has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard and provides excellent accommodation only 15 minutes from the Old Head of Kinsale golf links.
Although very centrally located, it has the feeling of a country house and the gracious public rooms are beautifully furnished, as if for a private home, and with Laura's displays of fresh flowers from her own garden everywhere.
Spacious, individually decorated bedrooms vary in size and outlook (ones at the front are most appealing, but the back is quieter) and all have extra large beds and thoughtful extras such as fresh flowers, complimentary mineral water, quality toiletries, robes and slippers. The suites have exceptionally luxurious bathrooms, although all are well-appointed and many have separate bath and shower.
In 2016 Andrew and Laura decided on a big change at Perryville, when they closed their lovely shop and tea rooms and used the space to create an extra ground floor room - and also a handsome bar. Light meals can be served here and it is a great additional amenity for residents.
Breakfasts include home-baked breads, Andrew's own honey, local cheeses, and other speciality foods from the area and around Ireland.
