This fine contemporary hotel is out of town, towards Rosses Point; it is not especially attractive from the road but, once inside the door it has a huge welcoming flower arrangement in the large foyer, and a light and appealing atmosphere.

This Sligo hotels staff are keen to make guests feel at home, and clearly take pride in the hotel - and it’s easy to see why.

Simple lines and classy contemporary decor in quality materials and warm tones create a pleasing ambience, without distracting from the hotel’s great attraction - the views over Sligo Bay.

The good-sized bedrooms are very comfortable, with all the expected facilities (TV options, safe, mini bar, iron/ironing board as well as trouser press, and so on), and there are various room combinations offered, including family rooms.

The Classsiebawn Restaurant, which is an open-plan dining area along the front of the hotel (and the gains in smart design and, especially, views are greater than anything it loses in lack of privacy) is an especially pleasant place for a weekend lunch, or dinner on a long summer evening, when the views can be enjoyed to the full.
