This modern hotel on the edge of Letterkenny town is well-placed for business travellers and also for short breaks in one of Ireland’s most beautiful areas; although it is in a newly developed area, new shops and other amenities have opened nearby (Marks & Spencer is a useful landmark just opposite the entrance), and it is within easy walking distance of the town centre.

It is a pleasing contemporary building: an atrium lobby with maple panelling and leather furniture lends a great sense of space and sets a smart tone for the rest of the hotel.

There’s a mix of suites and rooms, all featuring modern facilities and very nice bathrooms - Business Class rooms also have a desk area with broadband.

The hotel’s Poet’s Corner Restaurant was an immediate success and opens for Saturday night dinner. Breakfast, which is also served here, is well above the usual hotel offering.

Under the watchful eye of General Manager Brian Gleeson, this is a well-managed hotel, and a pleasant place to stay.
