Children welcome (under 12s free in parents room, cot available, baby sitting arranged, creche, kids club, playground). Dogs permitted (staying in outhouse/kenel). Spa, gymnasium, 20m swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and yoga/meditation room. Closed 25-26 Dec. abbreviations

Conveniently located off the main Dublin - Galway road (N6), and only a short drive from Galway Airport and Galway City, this smart modern hotel is within walking distance of the Heritage Town of Athenry town yet attractively situated in a woodland setting with landscaped gardens.


Known for the friendliness of its staff, it is an attractive hotel and has wide appeal. Families, attracted by the good leisure facilities, are made very welcome.


However, with 'state of the art' conference and event facilities, complimentary wi-fi access throughout the hotel and a fine leisure centre, it has particular relevance to business travellers and conference /event planners.


Useful for a journey break, as light meals and snacks are available throughout the day.
