Florrie Purcell founded The Scullery in 2004, making simple, old-fashioned foods with a contemporary twist. There are now nearly thirty products in her range, from high quality handmade Christmas puddings, to a wide range of condiments, sauces, relishes, pickles and glazes.
All products are preservative, colour and additive-free - and this, together with the high quality of the ingredients used, is a major reason for her success as it explains the natural flavour of her products. The other key factor is the combination of tradition and innovation.
Her individual Christmas puddings have gone down a treat, for example, and no wonder - and packing some of the premium range in a canister was an inspired idea.
