This attractive stone-built restaurant is on the corner of Market Yard, with access from the yard or the main street, and run by husband and wife team Jason (head chef) and Jo O'Brien (restaurant manager).

They chose the location well as, like the Market Yard Centre itself, Vittos aims to cater for a wide range of visitors, times and occasions, so this friendly place offers an extensive menu including pizza, pasta, salads and chargrilled steaks, chicken dishes, burgers and more traditional Irish dishes, plus a full bar. Everything is freshly prepared in-house and cooked to order - and all meats are chargrilled.

Planned to be equally suitable for a group booking or a table for two, Vittos is also very family friendly, with a special menu, crayons and colouring books provided for children, and outside seating available in summer.

And many items on the menu are also available to take away - very useful to know if you're holidaying on a Shannon cruiser.
