Dungarvan, Co. Waterford

Dungarvan (Dún Garbháin in Irish) is a town and harbour and is the administrative centre of County Waterford. The town's Irish name means "Garbhan's fort", referring to Saint Garbhan who founded a church there in the seventh century.

Dungarvan is a great town to visit in Ireland's 'Sunny South East'. Activities in the area include sailing, walking, angling, diving and cycling. There are also galleries, craft shops and a garden trail.
