Peperina Garden Bistro

Diego Cabrera’s bright and lively neighbourhood café, with lovely courtyard and friendly service, offers good value rustic cooking at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Mon-Wed 8.30-6, Thu-Fri 8.30am-10pm, Sat 9am-10pm, Sun 10-5. abbreviations

Peperina is a casual neighborhood cafe and bistro that's popular for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's all nicely relaxed, from the jaunty lightbulbs on loose red flexes to the shelves stocked with pretty pottery, bare floorboards and metal tabletops. Natural light floods in front and back and a spacious conservatory and cosy courtyard make it a lovely spot for morning coffee or al fresco dining.

The friendly service and relaxed decor suit the style of food perfectly, whether it’s a breakfast of apple and cinnamon organic granola with house baked treats and a fresh smoothie or lunchtime feed of the house signature, an Argentinian steak sandwich with fries.

Open for dinner Thursday to Saturday diners can expect simple, home style cooking with Mediterranean leanings. The 3-course menu costs €25 and might include tasty chorizo croquettes with basil aioli or pan-fried hake with spicy shellfish ragu.

Several wines are available by the glass and speciality coffees can be chosen to round of a meal.

Some bright shelving selling wares like pottery, sweets and cookies adds to the relaxed vibes while the homely, filling food makes this welcoming spot a good value casual option.
