Located at the heart of the “orchard county” of Armagh, this modern hotel is a sister establishment to the Dunadry Hotel & Country Club, Co. Antrim and Wellington Park Hotel, Belfast (see entries).
Although the functional lines of the building are disappointingly out of place in this historic location, it has brought welcome facilities to the area, notably contributing Northern Ireland’s largest hotel conference facility.
A cafeteria style ‘deli’ and informal dining area located in the foyer give a poor impression on arrival - but the bar and more formal restaurant areas at the back of the hotel look out onto pleasant landscaped gardens, and there is a beer garden, ‘The Balcony’.
Bedrooms are practical and well-equipped for business guests, with good amenities.
