This attractive riverside hotel is well-located close to Belfast International Airport and only about 15 minutes from the city centre. It was formerly a mill and, at its best, succeeds well in combining the character of the old buildings with the comfort and efficiency of an international hotel.
The attractive surroundings and good facilities make this a popular venue for corporate events and weddings.
Although the bedrooms very considerably and some are quite dated, accommodation includes three suites and eleven executive rooms; the best rooms are stylish and spacious, with the most desirable ones overlooking lovely gardens at the back of the hotel.
On some evenings there is a choice of dining in The Linen Mill Restaurant (which is adjacent to a function room and can be affected by overflow noise if there is a wedding in progress) or the informal Mill Race Bistro alongside, which is attractively situated overlooking the river.
A somewhat functional breakfast is served in the same areas and, although meals are adequate, the experience may not always match the potential offered by the location.
Leisure facilities within the grounds include a professional croquet lawn, fun bowling, trout fishing and cycling, as well as a leisure centre with beauty therapies.
