Located in the contemporary Crown Plaza Hotel in Blanchardstown, just off the lobby, Forchetta Restaurant offers authentic Italian dishes in modern, striking surroundings with pictures and displays of forks spelling out the theme.

Modern and expansive, there is a feeling of comfort and space, and a good view into the busy kitchen too. With luxurious carpet, dark wood, glass, bold floral wall paper and an impressive glass wine room which serves as a central feature, it’s a classy restaurant equally suitable for casual dining and for those who want to dress up - the ambience at Forchetta is a far cry from the average hotel dining room.

The high level of customer service in the hotel is carried through to Forchetta, where staff are extremely professional and friendly. Diners are promptly offered a selection of Italian home baked breads and a menu that covers the full range of authentic offerings including antipasti, pasta, pizza, grilled meat and fish.

All dishes in Forchetta are based on a handful of quality ingredients, cooked with care and a dash of Italian passion. Toppings for the thin and crispy pizzas are uncomplicated, showcasing milky Italian mozzarella and excellent cured meats. Pasta dishes are full of flavour with sauces that are fresh, rich and well seasoned, including old favourites such as Vongole, Arrabiata, Amatriciana, Gnocchi, Carbonara, and Ravioli.

Main courses that feature many of the most popular staples - steak, chicken, tuna, monkfish and sea bass, for example - are all cooked simply and without fuss, in the best Italian style.

The food is very good overall and, with its pleasing ambience, good service and extensive wine selection, Forchetta is sure to keep both ‘Blanch’ locals and hotel guests very happy.
