Gotham Café

A lively casual dining spot popular for its specialities, including quality pizzas, home made burgers and salads
Seats 65 (outdoor seating, 10). Open daily: Food served Mon & Tue, 10.30am-10pm; Wed-Sat 10.30am-11pm; Sun & Bank Hols 11.30am-10pm. Set value menu, 2 course for €15. House wine about €17.50. SC discretionary (10% on parties of 6+); children welcome; air conditioning. Closed 25-26 Dec & Good Fri. Amex, MasterCard, Visa, Laser. Directions: Just off Grafton Street. abbreviations

This lively, youthful café-restaurant just off Grafton Street does quality informal food at reasonable prices and is specially noted for its gourmet pizzas - try the Bowery, for example, an Italian sausage pizza with roasted cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and fontina cheeses and a drizzle of basil pesto.


Some of this Dublin restaurants specialities include salads, oriental chicken wings and pizza. There's also pastas too - and it's a great place for brunch on Sundays and bank holidays.


It's family friendly with a baby-changing facility and a childrens' menu.


Light breakfasts, including home-baked muffins, are offered, from 10.30am.


Offering consistent quality at fair prices, it's no wonder this great café is such a longstanding success.


* Sister restaurant Gotham South is located in Kilmacud Road Lower, Stillorgan, Co Dublin and carries on with the same tried & trusted formula. In addition they have a charcoal-fuelled barbeque to produce their signature Gotham burger plus other specialities such as garlic roasted prawns, BBQ free-range Irish chicken and oven-roasted Thai-style sea-bass.
