1 euro Denotes genuine Irish food culture, ie special Irish food products/companies/producers, and highlights the best places to shop for regional and artisan foods; the selection excludes obvious 'non-Irish' elements regardless of quality, eg ethnic restaurants and specialists in coffee, wine and other drinks, unless relevant to local production or history. Eat & Stay establishments are chosen for their commitment to showcasing local produce and Irish hospitality.

Gourmet Food Parlour

An appealing modern deli and café serving quality food at affordable prices - and with tapas on weekend evenings
Seats 80. Open:Mon-Tu 7.30am-6pm, Wed-Fri 7.30am-late, Sat-Sun 9am-late, all day brunch & tapas. abbreviations

In 2015 the original Gourmet Food Parlour made a big move - from its quirky premises on Cumberland Street in the town centre, to a lovely bright almost-harbourside location on Crofton Road.

Here, although the building is light and modern, the usual GFP country style prevails, making for a pretty, cosy and relaxing setting in which to enjoy good homemade food showcasing local ingredients alongside great foods from around the world.

From breakfast and brunch through to lunch, coffees and evening tapas, the emphasis at this appealing deli and café is on quality at an affordable price - and live music on weekend nights enhances the whole tapas bar experience.

Also at: Swords, Malahide (at Malahide United football ground), House Dublin, and Dawson Street Dublin.
