There is a pleasant air of relaxed luxury - the tone is set in an impressive foyer, with columns and a curved gallery overlooking a seating area smartly set up with comfortable sofas and armchairs.

Conferences play a major part in present-day business - and the surrounding greensward provides relaxation for delegates, along with many others who come here specifically to enjoy the excellent leisure facilities.

Spacious bedrooms are designed in the modern classic mode, with double and single beds and all the features expected of this type of hotel (all have desk areas, some with computers) and well-finished bathrooms - and all look out over the golf course or a courtyard garden.

Dining options allow for different moods: formal dining in Greens Restaurant (dinner daily and lunch on Sunday) or a more relaxed style in The Coach House Brasserie; healthy options and dishes suitable for vegetarians or coeliacs are highlighted on menus.

A pleasant and relaxing place to stay.
