The Puffin Café

Stone baked pizza, Italian ice-cream and wine, a relaxed atmosphere and a wonderful setting - Spencer and Kate Treacy's quirky café is somewhere to smile, relax and watch the waves roll in, and out.
Seats about 40 (+ample outside seating). Seasonal: open Jun-Aug - Mon, Thu & Fri 12-4pm, Sat 10am-10pm, Sun 11am-8pm. Winter opening hours. Sat 11am-8pm and Sun 11am-8pm. Self catering accommodation also available nearby. NO CREDIT CARDS. abbreviations

In a stunning location on the edge of the Atlantic at the aptly named Long Beach, Spencer and Kate Treacy's quirky café offers a highly unusual experience.

Their aim is to be an amenity, bring people together with food, art and music.

Stone baked pizza, Italian ice-cream and wine, a relaxed atmosphere and a wonderful setting - It is certainly a place to smile, relax and watch the waves roll in, and out.

And the menu also brings a smile, as they use a mix of names from the film and music and art. You may have pizzas called Rick Rubin or Chuck D, even Larry Levan.

Maybe you could start with The Bowie Vegan pizette - or you might you prefer The Doug-E-Fresh?  With it, you can have their refreshing filtered water, buy a bottle of sparkling water or pick a house wine - or, if you're feeling flush, they have a small range of “quality and eclectic wines”. Just ask.

Anyone for dessert? How about the BONEY Mmm! or maybe the Minnelli? Or there's the must-have: the Ahh Freke Out!

It’s a place for pizza and family fun. Now who ordered the Jazzy Jay? The B-Boying?
