Camp is situated on the seaward end of Glen Fas and lies west of the Slieve Mish mountain range. Attractions of note include Cathair Chonroi which is a large stone fortress, the Grave of Fas which is in the centre of a field near Camp village. Tradition tells how Fas, wife of a Milesian chieftain, was killed in the first battle between the Milesians and the original settlers. There is also a large safe beach for swimming and walking.
