Fanore is a small village in Co. Clare, on the west coast of Ireland. It is renowned for its extensive sandy beach. Fanore is very popular with walkers, surfers, tourists and is particularly interesting to botanists due to its location on the edge of the Burren which is renowned for its unique flora and fauna.
