Kinnegad, Co. Westmeath

Kinnegad (Cionn Átha Gad in Irish) is a town in County Westmeath. It is located at the junction of the N6 and the M4 - two of Ireland's main east-west roads. Kinnegad is home to many commuters who commute to Dublin daily via the N4 and the recently opened M4 motorway.

The terrain around Kinnegad is a Walker's Paradise, especially 'An Boreen Bradach' a walkway of approx. 6km (3.5 miles) which semi-circles Kinnegad. Along the Boreen nothing interrupts the view across the flat open fields streching in all directions.
