Crosshaven, Co. Cork

Crosshaven (Bun an Tabhairne in Irish) is a scenic village in County Cork that enjoys impressive views of Currabinny Wood, and Cork Harbour. It is here that the Owenabue River enters the sea at the mouth of Cork harbour.

Crosshaven is best known as the home to the Royal Cork Yacht Club which is the oldest yacht club in the world. It is where the enduringly popular and famous bi-annual "Cork Week" regatta takes place.

The area is favoured for its walking, angling and yachting. There are also beaches nearby for swimming.
