Charles Fort is a star shaped fort located on the waters edge in Summercove Kinsale. As one of the largest military installations in Ireland, Charles Fort has been associated with some of the most momentous events in Irish history.

The location includes exhibitions describing the history of the site and how soliders would have lived when in residence.

9 December - 13th March, Tue-Sun, 10am-5pm. 14 Mar - October, Daily, 10am-6pm. November - 8 December, Daily, 10am-5pm. Last admission 1 hour before closing
