Dublin 17, Dublin City

This area of Dublin is home to the villages of Priorswood and Darndale.  Priorswood is a district formed in northern Coolock, which took its name from a large house called Friarswood, situated off Belcamp Lane.  Priorswood is largely comprised of residential property and is within 2.5 kilometres of Dublin Airport (353 1 814 1111).  Darndale was originally a large expanse of farmlands on northern Coolock and has been intensively developed.  Clare Hall is a large shopping centre in Darndale and the village also boasts an impressive substantial fishing pond built in co-operation with the Eastern Fisheries Board (353 1 278 7022).
