This delightful sister to the other successful Jaipur restaurants in Dalkey, Dublin & Malahide (see entries) occupies a custom-designed restaurant space in, and overlooking, a modern shopping mall just off the main street of Greystones.
It has a comfortable bar/reception within a spacious and very attractive high-ceilinged dining room, with lovely subdued warm-toned décor and, from the moment of arrival, service is unobtrusively attentive and charmingly friendly.
Head Chef Dinesh Chander's excellent cooking maintains Jaipur’s crisp, modern contemporary take on traditional Indian food - colourful, delicious, well-flavoured dishes with a lot of eye-appeal.
The vegetarian choices are numerous and appealing, and old favourites like tandoori prawns and succulent biryanis are served with splendid breads and delicious sauces. Unusually for an Indian restaurant, even the dessert menu is worth exploring and, like all the restaurants in the group, a fairly priced wine list has been carefully selected to complement Indian food.
The shopping mall car park is available free for diners. .
