Hayfield Manor Hotel

Cork’s premier hotel is a luxurious latterday manor house set in two acres of mature trees and gardens near the university, in the south west of the city. Although relatively new, it has the feeling of a large period country house - albeit with some striking contemporary features since the completion of recent renovations - and is managed with warmth and discreet efficiency. 

This wedding venues got no formal wedding planning service, but everything will be done to make your day memorable, and extras such as vintage car hire, or a programme for guests staying several days, can be arranged.

For the ceremony, there are several churches to choose from nearby and wedding blessings can be arranged at the hotel, which is a place for those who would like a discreet adult wedding: receptions for around fifty guests are held in an elegantly furnished private dining room and library overlooking the formal garden at the back of the hotel; no evening guests are allowed, amplified music is not permitted and there is no bar extension available - a dull prospect for some, perhaps, but sheer heaven for those who favour quiet relaxation and conversation.

Great pride is taken in the food served at Hayfield Manor and the five-course wedding menu - which includes a choice of main course, at no extra charge - is sure to be a treat, especially for those who are staying overnight in one of the hotel’s spacious suites or guest rooms.
