The largest - and amongst the oldest - cemetery of megalithic tombs in Ireland

The largest - and amongst the oldest - cemetery of megalithic tombs in Ireland consisting of monuments that range from five and a half thousand to six and a half thousand years old. Archaeologists have recorded over 60 tombs of which 30 are visible. A restored cottage houses an exhibition relating to the site

Open daily, 5th April-10th October, 10am-6pm. Last admission 5pm
